Brixton Come Together returns for a third year for some more urban festivities. The festival will take place on the 20th and 21st September 2014 at St Mathew’s Peace Garden in the heart of Brixton with this year’s festival theme focusing on Shelter and Gentrification in Brixton. The event boasts a full program of incredible live music and DJs from UK festival favourites Prince Fatty and Beans on Toast to local South London MCs Malachi and Maverick.
Brixton Come Together is proud to announce the collaboration with Concrete Jungle Earthship to bring alternative accommodation themes and solutions to the attention of the community. Brixton Green will be present to open discussions about the future of Somerleyton Road after the success of their flagship community centre No.6. Brixton.

"WISHFUL" by Emergency Exit Arts
Mafua will be playing in this unique event as part of the Pre show!
Emergency Exit Arts are closing this years' Join the Docks festival with a spectacular finale of light, water and colour. Wishful is a magical show inspired by the Thai festival of Loi Krathong. Walk through a gigantic illuminated mechanical garden and watch as the floating wishing shrines are launched into the water, lighting the way for a show of gliding giant swans, an operatic moon goddess and four Newham-based community group taking part. The night ends in a shower of fireworks against the backdrop of Millennium Mills

Come to Silvertown Quays at 6pm and explore the Illuminated Garden, grab something to eat and drink and take part in our creative workshops. From 8pm everyone is invited to join a carnival procession that will end at the viewing platform from where to enjoy the show of water and fire 🔥🌊
